EastEnders SPOILER: Hunter Owen tries to MURDER Jack Branning

The teenager is going to take a dark turn in the new year with a horrifying plan

Hunter Owen hasn’t been the most stable of Walford residents since arriving in EastEnders earlier this year.

And now he’s going to step up the crazy with a bizarre plan to murder Jack Branning in an upcoming storyline.

Filming pictures have shown the shocking developments that come in the aftermath of Mel’s wedding to Ray Kelly.

Viewers know she has been planning to destroy the bigamist for his many crimes by setting him up.

The businesswoman is planning to marry him and then have him arrested for it straight after the ceremony in the new year.

But now in the aftermath Ray is nowhere to be seen.

Instead Mel and Hunter appear to go on the run for some reason before Jack tracks them down.

It has been hinted that Ray could be killed in Mel’s scheme, forcing her to flee Walford with her son.

But Ray’s death could spark off Hunter’s violence as the pictures show him attempting to strangle Jack in a car.

However it appears Jack has called in his former colleagues in the police to ensnare Mel and Hunter for some reason.

It is thought it is this betrayal that sees Hunter lash out at Jack, leaving him fighting for his life.

According to the Metro Jack makes the phone call to have Hunter arrested before luring him and Mel into a trap.

But when Mel and Hunter realise what has happened a huge fight ensues and Mel battles against the police while Hunter attacks Jack.

It isn’t yet clear if Hunter succeeds in killing Jack or whether Mel escapes the police to help her son.

However the pictures do show Mel unleashing her fury onto Jack as he stands by shocked.
