As if the Taylor family wasn’t already bursting at the seams with feisty women and drama, there’s about to be a new girl on the block.
EastEnders is set to welcome another member of the Taylor clan in 2019 as Chantelle is set to arrive in Albert Square.
She’s the daughter of Karen Taylor and Mitch Baker – and although we haven’t SEEN her yet, we’ve HEARD a lot about her!
EastEnders tells us that when Chantelle arrives in Walford next year, she quickly makes an impact with her kind and bubbly nature.
Although, we’re warned not to be fooled by her easy-going girl-next-door demeanour…
The BBC soap reveals “she’s very much her mother’s daughter and wouldn’t think twice about sticking up for herself”.
Karen and Mitch will be delighted to see their eldest daughter Chantelle arrive in Walford, but it suddenly becomes clear there’s some friction between mum and daughter.
One thing’s for sure, things are about to become a lot more rowdy in East London!
Kate Oates, Senior Executive Producer of EastEnders, Casualty and Holby City, said of Chantelle’s arrival: “The Taylor family are set to be complete when Chantelle arrives in Walford.
“Chantelle certainly has that feisty Taylor streak – things are set to get a whole lot louder in Walford in 2019.”
Casting for Chantelle is yet to be announced.
