EastEnders fans’ new campaign to bring back Fatboy

Actor Ricky Norwood has reunited with his co-star

EastEnders fans have started a new campaign to bring back Arthur ‘Fatboy’ Chubb as he reunited with Tiffany Butcher actress Maisie Smith.

On Instagram, Maisie Smith’s mum Julia posted a picture of Fatboy actor Ricky Norwood with Maisie.

Julia captioned the picture: “Who remembers Fatboy??! The gorgeous @officialrickynorwood #eastenders #bbc #soapstar #goodolddays #tiffanybutcher #fatboy.”

Ricky commented on the post: “What a great night and catch up! So good to see you!”

Fans went wild at the reunion and started demanding Ricky’s character Fatboy be brought back to Albert Square.

One wrote: “Bring him back… No one ever found his body though, only his chain?”

A second commented: “Aww I loved him, bring him back.”

A third wrote: “Bring him back please.”

Fatboy appeared in EastEnders from 2010 till 2015.

Poor Fatboy was caught in a war between Vincent Hubbard and Ronnie Mitchell.

In a tragic case of mistaken identity Fatboy was kidnapped by some of Ronnie’s heavies and locked in the boot of a car at the Arches.

Unfortunately the car then got taken off to be crushed and the last we saw of Ricky Norwood’s character was Vincent pulling Fatboy’s trademark ‘F’ medallion out of the car’s wreckage.

However, as a fan pointed out viewers never saw Fatboy’s body and despite Vincent appearing shocked when he opened the boot of the car, he told Ronnie that she had been scammed and the crushed car boot was empty.

Later Vincent called in at Dot Branning’s, who Fatboy lived with, and told her he went to a gig in Austria and may not be returning.

Last month, Ricky reunited with former EastEnders co-star Rudolph Walker for a new project.

EastEnders is on Mondays and Fridays at 8pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm
