EastEnders’ Lorraine Stanley, Clair Norris and Toby-Alexander Smith support Emma Barton on Strictly

They looked rather more glamorous than their alter egos

Every week at Strictly Come Dancing the celeb contestants have their friends and family come to support them and this week EastEnders‘ Emma Barton had some of her co-stars cheering from the audience.

Clair Norris, Lorraine Stanley, and Toby-Alexander Smith were all there to show their suppport for Emma, who had had a rough couple of weeks on the dancing show.

And while Toby’s alter ego, lawyer Gray Atkins, is known for his suave and sophisticated looks on screen, Lorraine and Clair looked a world away from their characters.

The pair play mother and daughter Karen and Bernadette Taylor – both of whom have failed to get it right in the dress sense department more often than not.

But the same can’t be said for Lorraine and Clair.

In a series of shots posted to Instagram, Lorraine and Clair can be seen, alongside Toby, and Emma, looking super-glam in black dresses.

Clair commented on her snaps: “She’s through to Blackpool!! Thank you Emma Barton for inviting us for a lovely evening to watch you. Beautiful dancer… Watch out Blackpool.

Fans were quick to comment on Clair’s snaps: “Love you guys,” they wrote.

With many also adding that Emma “smashed it”, and one saying it was nice to see Toby smile!

As well as supporting Emma, Lorraine was thrilled to meet another of the contestants – Saffron Barker.

Saffron and her partner AJ Pritchard topped the leaderboard on Saturday gaining 39 out of 40 for their waltz.

Thank you Emma Barton for inviting us for a lovely evening to watch you.

And it seems Lorraine is a fan, commenting that she was getting a selfie with Saffron for her nieces, who love her!

Emma herself had a much better night after a difficult couple of weeks, which saw her rumba land her at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Wowing the judges with her theatre/jazz routine, Emma found herself climbing back up the scoreboard with 33 points placing her in fourth overall.

Of course the judges marks only count for half of the overall scores and it seems the public like Emma, having saved her from the dance off every week so far.

Emma is juggling Strictly training with her role as Honey Mitchell.

The soap hasn’t made Emma’s workload any lighter since she signed up for the show, with Honey in the middle of a storyline that sees her battling an eating disorder as she struggles to cope with her partner, Adam’s cheating.
