Whilst Lucy was dressed as Christina for the night, fans are more used to seeing her play Bethany in the ITV soap.

Earlier this year, Lucy announced she would be leaving the cobbles at the end of her contract in 2020.

Despite announcing her exit, Lucy confirmed one day she would return to the popular soap.

She told Mirror Online: “I will be sad but I’m excited to see what’s going to happen in the future, although I have no idea what’s going to happen.

“When I leave I’ll have been there for five years and I’ve never done anything else, so I just want to try new things and do new things. But I’ll end up going back – I’ll be back.”

During her time playing Bethany, Lucy has had some tough storylines.

After being cruelly bullied at school by a girl named Lauren and her friends, Bethany was groomed by Nathan Curtis.

Currently Bethany isn’t well loved by Weatherfield residents.

After Daniel Osbourne kissed Bethany after a fight with his dying wife Sinead, residents soon heard what happened and began blaming Bethany.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
