Coronation Street star Kate Ford shared an adorable throwback photo to social media this morning, showing off her childhood fringe.
The actress shared the photo, which she keeps on her fridge, to Instagram and Twitter, claiming it makes her smile every morning.

“I have this picture of my and Anna my cousin, who is basically my sister, on my fridge,” she said. “It makes me smile every morning [sic].”
On Twitter she added, “Fringe!! Why did my mum cut it so short?”
Her fans were quick to respond to the adorable shot, with some comparing the actress to her son, Otis.
“I love this. Your wee face,” said one fan, and another said “Wow! What a picture you are there! Beautiful, Kate!”
Another fan commented: “I can really see the likeness to your son here!” and Kate joked back “If you shaved my head we would look exactly the same!”
Another fan said: “Aww bless. So cute. Lovely picture of you hun. Stunning.”
The actress – who plays Tracy McDonald on Corrie – recently revealed a stunning new hair style.
She shared a shot of her new blonde highlights to Instagram, captioning the image with the hashtag #blondie.

Kate recently revealed on Twitter that 10-year-old Otis has figured out the best way to get her attention when they’re out, claiming he relies on her Corrie character.
“If my son is annoyed with me he’s taken to shouting it’s Tracy Barlow in a northern accent in public,” she tweeted.
Otis is Kate’s only child, from her marriage to ex-husband, Jon Connerty.
