Over the summer, Elle revealed she had been successful in her GCSE results and celebrated her amazing grades on a cruise.

She then told fans she was starting college.

Though she’s not going anywhere as Amy Barlow, who has recently discovered she has a sister.

Amy’s dad, Steve McDonald, found out he was fellow street resident Emma Brooker’s dad after he realised her mum was Fiona Middleton and the dates added up to the time when he was dating Fiona.

A DNA test confirmed the truth.

Emma had grown up believing someone else was her father, but she discovered the truth when that man died.

Steve and Emma had tentatively been getting to know one another, though Steve playing the heavy-handed dad the other week when Emma was rushed to hospital with a burst appendix, didn’t go down well with fans.

As she recovered from emergency surgery, Emma agreed to stay with Steve and Amy, but now she’s feeling better she’s set to decide it’s time to move back home.

Amy’s gutted her sister’s moving out, so concocts a plan to fake an injury to get Emma to stick around a little longer.

But Amy doesn’t anticipate on the fall meaning she won’t be able to go to a Little Mix gig with Emma and Steve.
