With as many episodes as Coronation Street put out over the week, it's no wonder they have a large cast.
But 2019 will see some big exits from the soap as two of our favourite characters have announced they will be departing the cobbles.
Never fear though, others will be joining the show - both returning faces and new ones.
Here's a round up of all those set to leave, return and join the Street in 2019.

Kym Marsh - Michelle Connor
After 13 years on the cobbles, Kym Marsh announced she was leaving the Street just last month.
Kym revealed her news to The Sun with a statement: "When I was lucky enough to be offered four episodes I could never in my wildest dreams have thought I'd be here 13 years later.
"It's been an incredibly difficult decision but it feels like the right time for me to explore some other roles."
Kym's departure from the show was confirmed by Corrie executive producer John Whiston, who said he was "sad" to be losing her, but "totally understands" her desire to head off into new ventures.
He said: "Kym has done a fantastic job. She has brought incredible heart and humanity to some hugely important stories.
"We will be really sad to lose her when she goes but totally understand that, after dedicating herself to the show for so long she now fancies trying something else."
However in a recent interview with Best Magazine, Kym revealed: "This isn't the last you've heard of Michelle Connor - she'll be back!"
And speaking on Loose Women, Kym revealed: "I've said I'm taking a break, so yeah, I think it's just a break for me."
Bhavna Limbachia - Rana Nazir
Bhavna Limbachia announced her departure from Corrie in January, leaving Kana fans heartbroken that after all Rana and her on-screen fiancee Kate Connor (Faye Brookes) have been through to get together they will be cruelly torn apart.
After media reports that she would be off, Bhavna posted a video to her Twitter feed explaining her decision.
"Hi guys just wanted to give you a little message to say thank you so so much for following Rana's journey and for the continued support of the storyline," she began.
"I do have some news, my journey at Coronation Street will be coming to an end, but don't worry guys, I have extended my contact, I've had a wonderful time here but there's still lots more to film and I'm really grateful to Iain, our producer, for respecting my decision to leave.
"We have collaborated to come up with an amazing exit storyline so thank you so much."

It's not known how or when Bhavna will leave, but rumours are rife she's set to lose her life in the factory roof collapse later in March.
Adam Barlow - Wayne Hayes
Wayne Hayes, a runaway who fled his abusive step-father, was taken in by Roy Cropper (David Neilson) and his late wife Hayley (Julie Hesmondhalgh) after he was caught stealing from their café in 2000.
The pair fostered Wayne (then played by Gary Damer), but were devastated when the 10-year-old eventually returned home the following year.
Roy hasn’t seen Wayne since, but will reportedly be reunited with his former foster son when he returns to the cobbles 18 years on as a health and safety inspector, who will have a big part to play after a shock death at Carla’s factory due to the roof collapse.
Actor Adam Barlow is expected to take on the role of Wayne.
A source told The Mirror: "Little Wayne had a really tough time before, but now he's all grown up and has a decent job. It'll be interesting to see how he and Roy get along…"
Sam Robertson - Adam Barlow
Corrie fans were left devastated at the start of February when Adam Barlow and his handsome face departed Weatherfield to find himself.
He'd been flirting with Sarah Platt and realised his feelings for her were stronger than he would like and he needed to leave for a while.
But it was soon revealed Adam will be back. Replying to a concerned fan, the show's official Twitter feed wrote:
"He's only going away for a little bit - we'll see Adam again soon." Phew.
Malcolm Hebden - Norris Cole
Norris Cole - back where he belongs ❤️
— Coronation Street (@itvcorrie) February 28, 2019
Earlier in February Coronation Street shared a picture of Malcolm Hebden, aka Norris Cole, back filming on the Street.
Malcolm had taken time off after suffering a silent heart attack in 2017, which came without any of the usual warning signs and effectively tore his heart, causing a hole in the left ventricle.
He told the Blackpool Gazette: "Most of December I was in an induced coma,
"Fortunately I didn't realise how bad it was; I was dying.
"The cardiac team, headed by Mr Zacharias, simply saved my life."
On-screen, Norris's absence has been explained by him visiting friend Emily Bishop in Peru.
No details of his return storyline have been released, but it's been rumoured he'll come back engaged to Emily's deaf niece, Freda!
Jennie McAlpine - Fiz Stape
Actress Jennie McAlpine is currently on maternity leave after giving birth to her second child, Hilda, at the end of October 2018.
Fiz left the Street with her on-screen daughter, Hope Stape, after Hope's behaviour got so bad it was decided she needed to go to a special school in Birmingham.
She left partner Tyrone Dobbs with his gran Evelyn, and his daughter Ruby, but she has vowed to return to her family as soon as Hope is better.
Greg Wood - Rick Neelan
Loan shark Rick was last seen in 2012 when he kidnapped Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox) on her wedding day to Dennis Tanner.
And he's set to return in March 2019 to cause havoc once again.
A show insider told Digital Spy: "Rick will be coming back for a few months and will be up to his old tricks by terrorising some of the local residents.
"Viewers will have to stay tuned to find out who he'll be targeting this time, but it's safe to say that it's never good news for the characters when Rick is around."
Ruxandra Porojnicu - Alina
After the mix up over Sarah Platt in the bath Seb Franklin is at an all time low.
But the good news is he's reportedly going to get a new love interest in the form of new girl at the nail salon, Alina.
The bad news is, Alina is part of a human trafficking ring, in a story about modern-day slavery.
Show boss Iain McLeod revealed to Metro.co.uk: "This is one of the biggest hidden scandals in the UK today.
"Our research has shown us that in many towns and cities across Britain, people are being forced to work against their will, living in extreme poverty and in fear for their safety, all so ruthless criminal gangs can get rich at their expense."
