Corrie's Jack P Shepherd has revealed that a soap fan he'd never met left him a very generous gift in their will.
The actor, who plays David Platt in the long-running ITV soap, revealed that a man from New Zealand chose to give Jack 10% of his estate.
In a recent interview, he explained this amounted to the very handsome sum of £5,000.
Taking part in a chat on Instagram Live alongside co-star Julia Goulding, the pair were asked the question: "What is the kindest thing a fan has ever done for you?"
And Jack revealed that he was left money by a fan.
He said: "Gave me five grand in their will. From New Zealand, a fan. Died and gave me ten percent of his estate which was five grand so cheers."
