Is Nick just about to make things worse?

| Updated:

Adam and Sarah start a secret relationship, the new owners of No.3 arrive, and Robert is jealous when Michelle has a date in next week’s Coronation Street.

Nick hits out at David

After consulting with Adam, Nick warns Sarah that he will take back control of the factory whether she likes it or not.

Fuming that David is back in with the family, Nick locks his brother in the barbers to prevent him from signing in at the police station.

The boys begin to fight. Will David get to the police station in time?

Adam backs Sarah

Adam reveals that he’s refused to act for Nick.  He tells Sarah he’s spoken to Peter who is going get official permission from Carla to put Sarah in charge of the factory.

Adam offers to help Sarah free of charge in her mission to take control of the factory. He later calls in at No.8 with good news.

Sarah and Adam get it on

Sarah’s grateful when Adam reveals he’s managed to persuade Nick to let her run the factory.

Sarah kisses him, but as they head upstairs, they’re horrified to hear the front door unlocking.

It’s Gary, who has borrowed Bethany’s keys to cook Sarah a surprise meal.

Sarah quickly straightens her clothes while Adam hides in the kitchen.

As Gary explains it was meant to be a surprise, Sarah can’t get him out of there quick enough so suggests they go for a drink.

When Adam joins them in the Rovers Sarah’s horrified until Adam takes the hint and leaves.

Sarah manages to get away from Gary. She calls in at Adam’s flat.

Sarah wants to keep Adam a secret

Having spent the night together, Sarah wants to keep their relationship a secret, leaving Adam hurt.

Meanwhile Bethany urges Gary not to give up on Sarah, oblivious that her mum is now seeing Adam.

As Sarah and Adam row on the street about keeping their relationship under wraps, Gary watches on but gets short shrift from Sarah when he goes to check on her.

Apologising to Adam, she explains that Gary still has feelings for her and she doesn’t want to hurt him.

Adam suggests they slip off and spend the day at a hotel together.

The new owners of No.3 arrive

Mary and Ken watch in sadness as Ed clears out the contents of No.3 into a skip.

Ed’s amused when Ken mistakes him for a builder and not the new owner of the house.

In the Rovers, Ed enjoys winding up Ken and Chesney making out the new owners of No.3 have 10 children and a similar number of animals.

As he and son James beaver away at No.3, Ken threatens to complain to the new neighbours about the noise.

Steve gets a blast from the past

As Ed takes ownership of the builders’ yard, Gary calls in hoping for some work but Ed’s heard about Gary’s reputation and isn’t interested.

When Ken complains about the noise at No.3, he demands the owner’s name and a cheeky Ed gives him Aggie’s details.

Steve is sent over to clear the air but when he’s introduced to Aggie, husband Ed and son James, Steve is horrified to realise James is the lad he threatened in his taxi.

Aggie and Ed tear a strip off James for risking his football career by getting involved in an accident.

Sally sells Tiny

With Yasmeen also wanting to pull out of the syndicate, Sally threatens the ladies with legal action. Tim heads off to check on Tiny but when he returns from the stables in a state he reveals the horse is gone.

As Tim accuses Geoff and Yasmeen of Tiny’s disappearance, Sally reveals she sold the horse.

Tim describes the bond he had with Tiny saying he’s going to miss him.

Yameen is annoyed that Geoff spoke for her and said she wanted out of the syndicate.

Robert is jealous

After chatting to Michelle, Michael tracks her down to the Bistro and invites her to join him for a drink.

Masking his jealousy, Robert suggest she finishes early but Michelle is hurt by his apparent indifference.

Robert puts on a brave face as Michelle arrives for her date.

The date goes well until Michael invites Michelle back to his ‘bachelor pad’ for a coffee, but it turns out to be his parents’ old house.

Robert and Michelle reunite

As Michelle teases Michael in the street, Robert confides in Daniel how much he misses Michelle and blames himself for ruining their relationship.

Having overheard this, Michelle comes up with a plan.

Daniel tells Robert there’s an emergency at the restuarant and as he rushes over, he’s stunned to find Michelle alone in a candlelit Bistro.

She admits she still loves him and wants to try again, he assures her he’s always loved her and wants to make another go of it too.

Coronation Street is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
