David is left in fearing for his family when Clayton escapes, disaster strikes with Daniel’s essay, and Amy refuses to go to her baby’s scan in next week’s Corrie.
Monday February 25
Billy offers to go with Shona to Dane’s funeral. When they arrive Macca tells Shona she’s not welcome and Clayton wants nothing to do with her.
It soon becomes obvious that Clayton and Macca are planning something when they exchange conspiratorial glances.
Macca attacks a prison guard and frees Clayton. Billy wrestles Macca to the ground, but Clayton manages to flee. David is horrified to hear of Clayton’s escape and packs up to go and stay with Nick.
Shona returns home and David is glad she’s safe. However, they soon argue when Shona admits she’s worried about her son.
Sinead starts her radiotherapy. Daniel beavers away at his essay but Sinead is worried Daniel is taking on too much.
Wednesday February 27
Amy is feeling the pressure when Tracy takes time off work to spend quality time with her before the scan. Tracy drops her at the salon for some pampering where Bethany urges her to tell her parents the truth.
Amy locks herself in the bedroom and refuses to go for the scan.
Daniel is struggling with his essay. Sinead suggests Brian helps him out so he can spend some time with his son.
Disaster strikes when Brian spills coffee on the laptop. Can they retrieve the essay?
David throws Shona out after discovering she tried to help supply drugs to Clayton.
Shona’s stunned when Clayton appears in the back of David’s car. He orders her to follow his instructions and drive.
Friday March
Shona speaks to Clayton on the phone. She steals £3K from David’s tin and goes to meet her son.
When David discovers the money is gone he’s convinced Sarah has taken it.
Shona meets Clayton at a derelict warehouse. She gives him food and begs him to hand himself in.
Clayton grabs the cash and makes to run, but he soon realises the place is surrounded with police.
As police surround the warehouse, a negotiator calls Clayton and he tells them he’s taken Shona hostage.
David races to the scene when he finds out Shona is in danger. David and Nick are told to stay behind the cordon.
Clayton puts a knife to Shona’s back and drags her outside. He demands £10K and a car or she dies.
Will David lose Shona too?
Coronation Street is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
