Seb is put in hospital!

The police raid the nail bar, Ryan gets on the wrong side of Gary, and Emma’s dad is diagnosed with cancer in next week’s Coronation Street.

Seb is put in hospital

Seb asks Faye to go to the salon and pass on a note to Alina. When another girl does her nails, Faye asks her to give Alina the note.

Seb gets a text from Alina asking him to meet at the salon after work but as he arrives he is confronted by Nikolai.

Later, Jan drives an unconscious Seb to hospital leaving him at A&E.

Eileen is suspicious of Jan

Abi gets a call to say Seb is in hospital, Eileen rings Jan who says he is working in Birmingham. Eileen and Abi rush to see Seb.

Eileen quizzes Jan, but he insists he was working in Birmingham.

Something is niggling her and she heads to the salon where she finds Jan, Rachel and Nikolai putting all the fixtures and fittings into a van.

Eileen is gutted when Jan tells her that he’s a liar and a cheat and he never cared for her.

A fight starts between Jan and Nikolai, who smashes Eileen’s phone so she can’t call the police.

As Eileen starts to fear for her life, the police force their way in and arrest them all.

After being interviewed by the police, Eileen’s released without charge.

Abi explains how Seb called the police which led to a raid on the nail bar.

Alina visits Seb one last time…

A downbeat Eileen tells Abi that Jan was part of the trafficking ring.

Having been discharged from the hospital, Seb returns to No.11 where he and Eileen sympathise with each other over the harrowing events at the nail bar.

Accompanied by a support worker from the Salvation army, Alina goes to No.11.

Alina tells Seb how the police raided the house where she and the other girls were staying but her support worker is sorting her out with a safe house.

Gary’s money goes missing

Taking out a wad of Rick’s money, Gary stashes it in a desk drawer, before heading off to do some dodgy business leaving Ryan to mind the furniture shop.

Gary’s impressed when Ryan reveals he sold two pieces of furniture for £200.

Gary tells Ryan there was £650 hidden in the desk he sold.

An apologetic Ryan reveals Mary bought the desk for the flower shop, but when he searches for the money, Mary assures him the drawers were empty when she brought it…

Ryan’s in trouble with Gary

Ryan tells Alya he sold some vinyl so he can now afford to join her in Copenhagen and she’s thrilled.

Gary tackles Ryan over the missing money but Ryan swears blind that he knows nothing about it.

When Alya lets slip that Ryan has come into some money, Gary quietly fumes and later confronts Ryan who eventually admits he took the cash.

Ryan swears he had no idea the money was Gary’s but Gary tells him he can pay it back plus interest.

Gary has plans for Underworld

Sarah tells the factory workers the insurance company will only pay out £20k which is not enough for a rebuild.

Gary introduces business associate Derek Milligan to Nick as a new investor for the factory.

Gary explains Derek would buy the land, rebuild the factory and rent it out to Underworld on the proviso that he’s put in charge of the building work.

Sarah refuses to accept the offer.

Sarah puts her feelings first

When Izzy finds out Sarah refused to accept the offer as Derek is an associate of Gary she tells the factory workers.

They are furious she is putting her feelings before their jobs.

Sarah is overruled. What will she do?

Robert and Jed square up

Robert arrives at Vicky’s to see Jed there and Vicky packing her bags.

The two men square up to each other. Vicky tells them to leave her alone whilst she makes her decision.

Emma’s dad is ill

Emma agrees to babysit Joseph and Liam instead of visiting her father in hospital.

Emma returns from finally visiting her dad in hospital and tells Maria he has been diagnosed with stomach cancer.

Maria does her best to comfort Emma who’s clearly upset and very worried about her dad.

Emma tells Maria that her mum, who lives in Australia, refuses to come over and visit her dad despite his illness.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
