Yasmeen is mugged, Robert has a big secret and Michael suggests a golden business opportunity to Tim and Steve in next week’s Coronation Street.
Geoff is annoyed
Geoff persuades Yasmeen to have the night off work as he plans to have Sally and Tim round for dinner.
When she reveals she’s going to a wine tasting with Cathy but will be back for dinner, Geoff struggles to hide his annoyance.
Yasmeen and Cathy lose track of time as they knock back glass after glass and Yasmeen fails to see the irritable texts from Geoff.
When she arrives back late for the dinner party she fails to see how annoyed Geoff is.
Geoff makes light of her poor time-keeping skills but it’s clear he’s angry and when Sally goes, he tears a strip off Yasmeen and heads to the spare room.
The next day Yasmeen is apologetic with Geoff over her hangover, but he makes her feel worse.
At Speed Daal Geoff pours water on Ryan’s mixing deck and lets Yasmeen think she did it.
Yasmeen is mugged
Yasmeen leaves Speed Daal with the takings and she is dragged screaming into an alleyway.
Tracy rushes to Yasmeen’s aid and helps her back to No.6.
Yasmeen is clearly shaken and when Geoff returns he is horrified to discover Yasmeen has been mugged.
Yasmeen wants to return to work but Geoff is determined to play protector.
As Yasmeen heads home she is unnerved to realise there’s someone following her and tells Geoff she wishes she’d listened to him and allowed him to escort her home.
Geoff continues to control Yasmeen
Goeff undermines Alya’s effort to get Yasmeen to go to work and insists she should stay home so he can look after her.
Geoff is pleased when Yasmeen declines Sally and Tim’s invitation to the Rovers.
Feeling cooped up at No.6 Yasmeen decides to go out for some fresh air. Quickly acting hurt, Geoff talks her out of leaving.
Geoff is disappointed when Yasmeen tells him her mugger was arrested.
Later, Alya brings Ryan and two of his DJ friends back to No.6 and, with Geoff in bed, Yasmeen joins in the party.
Geoff’s annoyed to find Yasmeen enjoying a drink and laughing.
As the boys leave and and Alya falls asleep on the sofa, a gloved hand opens a drawer to remove a box of precious jewellery and photographs.
Robert lies spiral
Robert apologises for missing the meeting and reveals his plan to throw a surprise wedding. Robert heads out lying he has another appointment with the travel agent.
Instead, Robert calls at Vicky’s house and she asks if him and Michelle are back together and if that’s why he’s sneaking about.
He assures her they’re history, but she mustn’t find out about the baby because of losing her own baby, and Vicky is sympathetic.
Ryan is suspicious of Robert
Robert finally returns to the Bistro and makes out he was held up by an accident on the M60 but while Michelle buys his story, Ryan is suspicious.
Robert assures Michelle that a secret wedding is the ultimate show of romance.
Ryan later clocks Robert making a furtive phone call and quizzes him.
Michelle wrongly assumes Robert was on the phone making secret wedding plans and leaps to his defence, insisting Ryan should apologise.
Steve’s birthday inspires a business plan
When Tracy finds Steve at a loose end in the cab office, she orders him to help Mary out in the flower shop.
Amy gives Steve a grooming kit for his birthday. When Tracy fails to give Steve a present, Steve reckons she’s planning a surprise.
As Steve moans to Tim, Michael reckons they’re overlooking a golden business opportunity. He suggests they buy a carriage for Tiny and make a fortune doing tours.
Steve returns home and is touched to find Tracy has prepared him a special birthday tea. When he opens his unicorn card, it gives him an idea.
Gemma makes plans
At Gemma’s 12 week scan, a lady suggests they could sell their story to the press and while Gemma’s thrilled at the idea, Chesney’s appalled.
The sonographer confirms all four babies are doing well and they’re both relieved.
Gemma secretly calls Hiya! magazine and arranges to meet with a reporter.
When Chesney finds out, Gemma apologises for trying to sell their story and promises she’ll never do it again
Coronation Street is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
