Amy is pregnant and Steve and Tracy are on the warpath, Sarah’s also fuming with Gary, and Carla’s concerned for Roy in next week’s Corrie.
Monday January 21
Amy bunks off school to attend a family planning clinic. She tells the nurse she’s pregnant and asks for the abortion pill.
The nurse tells her she must talk to an adult first and Amy’s upset, but decides to confide in Liz.
After Amy asks Liz to take her for an abortion, Liz insists she must talk to her mum and dad about her pregnancy.
Liz makes Amy tell Steve and Tracy and they’re stunned. Steve immediately accuses Aadi of being the dad and after accusing him in the corner shop, a mortified Amy can’t believe everyone now knows she’s pregnant.
Gary’s thrilled when Nicola and Zac arrive for a visit, but Sarah’s not happy when she sees the designer clothes Gary bought Zac for Christmas.
And Nicola’s not happy either as she reminds Gary he’s behind on his maintenance payments. He assures her it’s all sorted as he’s just landed a huge new contract.
Sinead is tentative as she’s allowed to reach into the incubator and touch baby Bertie. But she’s horrified when the ECG alarm goes off.
The nurse later assures her she did nothing wrong and Bertie is making good progress.
Carla’s worried about Roy when she can’t find him on the anniversary of Hayley’s death. Thinking he’s missing, she calls the police, but he turns up and explains he was trainspotting.
Wednesday January 23
Tracy takes Amy to the family planning clinic and when a scan reveals Amy’s 10 weeks pregnant, Tracy demands the truth.
Putting two and two together and getting six, Tracy accuses Simon of being the father of Amy’s baby in front of Peter. Simon denies it, but what is he hiding?
Roy and Carla are reminiscing about Hayley over lunch in the Bistro when Shona drops a bombshell. Roy’s mum, Sylvia, has been taken seriously ill.
Calling the hospital, Roy’s shocked to hear Sylvia’s had a heart attack.
Friday January 25
Leanne wants the truth from Simon about Amy’s pregnancy, but Si insists he’s got nothing to do with it.
Tracy is sure it’s Simon and as she and Leanne argue in the street over Amy’s pregnancy, an embarrassed and confused Amy rushes off in tears.
Sarah’s fuming when she discovers Gary planning a job in Qatar. She’s even angrier when Nicola reveals she’d offered Gary the chance to stop his maintenance payments until he’s back on his feet.
Wanting to punish him, Sarah gets drunk and goes for a nightcap at Adam Barlow’s place. But then he moves in for a kiss – will Sarah respond?
As Sarah leaves Adam’s, with the solicitor hot on his heels, Seb assumes Adam is hassling her and intervenes.
Seb shoves Adam who angrily lashes out and punches Seb.
Sarah patches up Seb’s wounds, but then lies to Gary Seb was attacked by a stranger. Will Seb back up her story?
