Corrie fans think they’ve worked out who hairdresser Emma really is…

If this is true, then it's MASSIVE!

We blinking love new Corrie hairstylist Emma Brooker.

At first we thought she was just a plot device, brought in to add to David Platt’s suffering as he pushed away girlfriend Shona after his rape.

But she’s stuck around and the bouncy, sweet-natured teenager has well and truly won us (and Seb Franklin!) over.

Now Corrie fans reckon there could be more to Emma than meets the eye. They’re convinced she’s got a link to an old Corrie favourite – and if they’re right, this could be MASSIVE.

Some fans reckon Emma could be the daughter of former salon owner Fiona Middleton.

And we are totally on board with this theory!

Fiona, who famously dated Steve McDonald, left the Street in 1999, having been jilted at the altar by fiance Alan McKenna because he found out she had a fling with Jim McDonald.

Could Emma be her daughter? The dates definitely work, plus there’s the talent for hairdressing, not to mention the resemblance between the two women.

And if Emma is Fiona’s daughter then who is her dad? Of course it could be Alan, but that’s not much fun. It would be FAR more exciting if one of the McDonald men turned out to by Emma’s pops.

After all, Jim’s on his way back to Weatherfield soon and Steve’s about to get engaged to Tracy Barlow (again). Either one of them finding out they’ve got a secret daughter would cause huge drama in the Street.

Which, by the way, we are completely here for.

Fans on social media are convinced Emma is the secret daughter of Fiona and Steve.

“Why do I feel that Emma could be the love child of Steve & Fiona Middleton?” asked one viewer. While another said: “Isn’t Emma the right age to be Fiona & Steve’s daughter?”

And others were quick to wonder if this meant Fiona, who was played by Angela Griffin, could be on her way back to Corrie?

Earlier this year, Angela talked about returning to the show, and said she’d “never say never” about going back.
