Those watching Coronation Street recognised a familiar face on Weatherfield's cobbles last night as parents-to-be Gemma and Chesney tried to raise a few quid for their forthcoming quadruplets.
The expecting pair had set up a chat on Radio Weatherfield to encourage listeners to help support them financially ahead of the arrival of their brood.
But following Chesney's admission that he and Gemma are not married, radio host Jane shifted gears from fundraising and pushed for them to get hitched!
Within moments of the start of Wednesday's first episode, eagle-eyed viewers swiftly identified Jane as being played by Lauren Drummond.
Lauren, 31, is perhaps best known for playing Mika Grainer in the BBC's Waterloo Road for three series.
But she was also a series regular in Holby City as Chantelle Lane for two years from 2011.
Thought I recognised her.
She has also made appearances on screen in Doctors, Casualty, The Royal, Grange Hill and Silent Witness.
And Lauren has previously appeared in Corrie, too - playing a teenager staying on the same campsite as the Websters, the Platts and the Croppers as they holidayed in the summer of 2001.
One fan wondered on Twitter: "Mika from Waterloo Road as a radio host? #Corrie."
Another seemed more sure, writing: "It's Mika from Waterloo Road! #corrie."
"Can't believe Lauren Drummond from @WaterlooRoad was in @itvcorrie, thought I recognised her," added another observer.
And another viewer mused: "Literally just been rewatching season one of Waterloo Road and switched over to watch Corrie and omg Mika from Waterloo road was in tonight's @itvcorrie 😊 saying that pretty sure half the Corrie cast have been in both 😂."
Did you spot her?
