There could be a Coronation Street comeback for Jim and Andy McDonald if Beverley Callard has her way.
The Liz McDonald star has been begging bosses to reunite her on-screen family for next year's 30th anniversary of when they first arrived on the cobbles.
It has been more than a decade since viewers saw the family all together at one of Steve's many weddings.
Charlie Lawson returned briefly as Jim last year in an ill-fated storyline that saw him pretend his and Liz's dead daughter Katie hadn't actually died.
Andy actor Nicholas Cochrane, however, hasn't been seen in a decade - but if Bev has anything to do with it, that won't last.
She told the Daily Star Sunday: "I so wish the producers would get us all back together. I know the fans would love it. Charlie came back last year for a brief while, which was fantastic, and we are hoping it will happen again next year. The fans have always loved Liz and Jim.
"They like seeing them together, then not together, then together again. Life was never boring for Liz and Jim. I think the reason the McDonalds were so popular was because the writing was just so great. And we all got on so well together. It was just so easy."
The actress also revealed she won't be retiring anytime soon because of the love she gets playing the barmaid.
She added to the publication: "I'm really fortunate because everybody loves Liz."
Speaking further, Bev said that as long as the writers keep creating "great scripts" for her, she'll stay because she "loves it".
