Eva Price is back in Weatherfield next week as the inquest into Aidan Connor’s tragic death begins – but how long is she back for?
As the week kicks off, Johnny hears that Eva has left and is heart-broken as he thinks he’ll never see baby Susie again.
He tells Kate and Michelle that he refuses to stand up in court and tell everyone that Aidan wasn’t of sound mind when he made his will leaving the factory to Alya.
He confesses that with Susie gone he no longer cares about the factory.
Jenny tries to encourage him to keep fighting for the factory as Eva might relent one day and let him see Susie and be part of the little girl’s life.

Meanwhile Johnny vows that he will do all he can to get Eva to attend the inquest so he can see his granddaughter on last time.
The day of the inquest arrives and the Connors are feeling anxious, wondering if Eva will show.
They’re relieved when she arrives at the last minute and gives her evidence after Johnny has given his.
The family find the day hard going as old memories are dredged up and the realisation that Aidan is truly gone hits them all over again.
As the inquest ends, Eva and Kate say an emotional goodbye to each other, united over their love for Aidan.
Toyah tries to persuade Eva to stick around but she tells her that leaving really is what’s best for everyone.
Finally Johnny makes his way over to her and apologises for stealing Susie and dragging her through a custody battle.
Will Eva be able to forgive him and make amends with Aidan’s dad before she leaves Weatherfield for good?
Johnny left Eva in bits last week when he snatched the baby from her crib while Leanne was looking after her, leaving fans of the ITV soap furious with the former factory boss.
He then hid himself away in a hotel with his granddaughter, forgetting to take his MS medication with him.
Eventually he contacted his lover Liz McDonald who told him that Susie needed to be with her mum and Johnny needed to be with his wife.
Johnny confessed that he couldn’t bear the thought of never seeing Aidan’s daughter again and his plan was to runaway to Spain with Susie.
He told Liz he loved her and asked her to go with him.
But Liz made the right decision and called the police, explaining to a betrayed Johnny that it was the right thing to do.
