It’s been a tumultuous time for Coronation Street recently, with at least seven cast members announcing their intention to quit.
While some fans have wondered what’s going on behind the scenes of the ITV soap, even suggesting the show is in crisis, others have now demanded that even MORE leave!

Last night (May 2), Lucy Fallon became the latest Corrie star to reveal she will not be renewing her contract when it comes to an end next year.
The shocking news came in the same week that Faye Brookes revealed she’s leaving the soap later this year to concentrate on her wedding to Gareth Gates.
Katie McGlynn will also be leaving after deciding not to stay on as Sinead Tinker when her contract ends.

Last week, Tristan Gemmill announced on Twitter that he was leaving his role as Robert Sugden.
Kym Marsh, the soap’s Michelle Connor, announced she was off in February.
Connie Hyde – troubled Gina Sneddon in the soap – quit in March, the same month that Bhavna Limbachia, who played Rana, also left.
Meanwhile, Liam Bairstow – who plays Alex Warner – has told his 19,000 followers on Twitter that he has left Weatherfield to focus on theatre work.
But fans want a few more characters to leave too – and they’ve provided a list…
And sorry Sean Tully, you seem to be at the top of it!
Venting on Digital Spy Forums, one user wrote: “Come on ITV, get rid of this diabolical character. He is the reason the soap is going down the [bleep].
“Why is Sean being kept around? This applies to Izzy, Fizz and a few others. Make a statement, and get rid of the deadwood!”
Another agreed, saying: “Terrible character, but he’s not the problem at the moment. That would be Gemma. I absolutely loathe Sean but it is Gemma who has made me switch off.”
One more said: “Don’t throw rotten tomatoes at me, but I don’t find Sean half as bad as Gemma, Izzy or Brian. A character like Gemma, with no redeeming features whatsoever, shouldn’t be at the forefront of a show as big as Corrie. She’s not funny or endearing at all.”
So Sean, Gemma, Fiz, Izzy and Brian… Anyone else? Well yes, Ali and Ryan aren’t safe from the readers’ hit list either!
A user calling himself Owen10 wrote: “Anybody got the feeling that Ali and Ryan in Coronation Street are also going to leave the show?”
They continued: “I can’t see them being in the show much longer, when nearly all the young actors are leaving and also Michelle is leaving as well.
“So I don’t see the point of them being in the show when you hardly see them these days.”
One user defended the pair, however, saying: “Ali and Ryan have so much potential, but they are being wasted for more Gemma scenes!”
The ITV soap has received a fair amount of criticism the past few weeks with fans accusing the show of becoming ‘The Gemma Show’.
But the character of Gemma certainly isn’t going anywhere, as she’s recently announced she’s pregnant with Chesney’s baby.
The soap has also cast former Casualty star Jane Hazlegrove as Gemma and Paul’s mum.
