Tina has played Sarah Platt since 1999.

Currently, Sarah has been in the middle of a family feud ever since her brother David confessed that he and their brother Nick stole her £80,000 left to her by Archie Shuttleworth.

Whilst David admits he found out about the money and blackmailed Nick into buying him a barber shop, he wasn’t the one who stole the money.

Nick took the money with the help of Natalie, who went on to work at the barbers and had a crush on David.

Earlier this week, Gail organised a family meeting where everyone would get a chance to talk when holding her lady ornament.

However, it went downhill quickly when Nick and David began arguing over the lady and the ornament went flying hitting Audrey over the head.

As paramedics showed up, the police also arrived as the operator heard shouting in the background and due to David and Nick not being allowed contact with Audrey, they were held in custody until a trial which will be held in tonight’s episode (July 12 2019).

In last night’s episode (July 11 2019) after David helped defend Nick against his violent cellmate, Nick agreed to tell the truth in court and wouldn’t use his brain injury as an excuse for what he did.

However when Nick told girlfriend Leanne his plan to tell the truth she was not happy and told him to stick to the original plan. Will he tell the truth or will he throw David under the bus?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
