Sinead Tinker will finally meet her baby son next week on Coronation Street.
Sadly for the cancer patient it isn’t the pure joyous moment she expects and instead she is left terrified when she touches her son’s head setting medical alarms off around her.
She hasn’t been able to see her son in person since she developed a bleed when giving birth in hospital.
Her son Bertie was delivered prematurely after Sinead’s cancer progressed and she required immediate treatment.
And now she is going to be able to properly see and touch her beloved baby.

But when does finally get into the room with him and husband Daniel Osbourne, it’s all a bit too much for Sinead.
He’s so gorgeous,” she says when she gets to meet him.
“It’s all so scary Daniel, I think I’d like to touch him,” she says as she leans her hand onto her head.
“Hello Bertie, it’s mummy,” she tells him but as she rubs his tiny little head alarms begin to sound and she panics.
“Oh my God, what have I done?” she says in a panic as the alarms continue to go off.
“Daniel do something,” she cries in terror as a nurse swoops in and checks that everything is OK.

Despite Sinead’s panic, Bertie is fine and she slowly manages to calm down about the situation.
But with her upset only set to grow as she undergoes treatment for her cancer and Bertie fights his own health woes with his bowel condition, will Sinead be able to remain positive?
Actress Katie McGlynn recently revealed even she doesn’t know how the storyline will end – or even if Sinead will survive.
