Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle Connor in Coronation Street, has confirmed whether her character will die in her exit storyline.
Speaking on This Morning today (October 29 2019) about her departure, Kym said: "[It feels] a bit weird. I'm going to be very emotional on my last day for sure."
Confirming she knows when her last day will be she said: "I do know, probably can't say.
"But it's coming up soon soon, coming up very soon, next few weeks."
Phil then quizzed Kym about whether her alter ego will die and the actress said: "No. The door is open so that's good."
Earlier this year, Kym announced she had quit the soap and Michelle would be departing Weatherfield.
She joined Corrie back in 2006.
Currently her character Michelle has no idea her fiancé Robert is leading a double life.
When Robert and Michelle decided to get back together earlier this year, he ended his relationship with Vicky Jefferies.
But moments before proposing to Michelle, he learnt Vicky was pregnant with his child.
Robert told Vicky not to mention the pregnancy to Michelle as her son Rauri died when he was born prematurely at 23 weeks and the reason they originally split was because he wanted a baby and she didn't.
After Vicky saw Michelle's engagement ring, she assumed Robert planned to propose to her and he ended up engaged to two women.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
