Coronation Street could be lining up another shock murder in Weatherfield over Christmas – with Nick Tilsley reckoned to be in the firing line.
Bookies are giving odds of 2/1 that killer Gary Windass will kill again – and this time, with Nick as his victim – over the struggle for the factory.
Nick and his sister Sarah have planned to buy the factory from Derek, Gary’s frontman, without realising it is Gary pulling the strings.
Once he finds out and risks losing everything, Gary is going to have a terrifying reaction and confront Derek but could Nick be caught up in the crossfire?

Gary’s already responsible for the deaths of Rick Neelan and Rana Habeeb, so could another death be that beyond him?
A Coral spokesman told Daily Star Online: “Coronation Street viewers are convinced that Gary Windass will kill again imminently and there is surely to be some bad blood over the next couple of weeks.
“Nick better watch out as there can be no telling what he might do next.”
“It’s sure to be a festive period of twists and turns on the cobbles as always.”

It was previously claimed that Robert Preston will be killed on Christmas Day this year.
The chef, played by Tristan Gemmill, is expected to meet his maker on Christmas Day when he is shot by Derek Milligan, who takes to the Rovers with a gun in a bid to do away with business partner Gary Windass.
A soap source apparently told The Sun: “Derek gets drunk and starts waving a gun around the pub.
“There’s a tense stand-off then a massive fight between the two men and two people are shot, including Robert, who dies on Christmas Day.”
But Robert won’t die initially – it is said he will pass away from a heart attack off-screen.
The source added: “He makes it to hospital but suffers a heart attack and dies off-screen. It’s left to Michelle to tell everyone he’s dead.”
