The soap star posted a picture with his wife Nichola and their two children Thomas and Hollie.
He captioned the post: "Back with the family, what an amazing experience I had in the jungle.
"I just want to say thank you so much with all my heart for everyone that voted for me, you don't know how much it means to me finishing 2nd, thanks again x."
Friends and soap stars rushed to congratulate Andy on coming second on the show.
Fellow actor, Emmerdale star Anthony Quinlan who plays Pete Barton, wrote: "You were awesome! Well done mate."
Sair Khan, who plays Alya Nazir in Corrie and also competed in I'm A Celebrity last year, commented: "Cannot wait for a proper catch up! Well done Andy! We're all so proud of you! X."
Actress Samia Longchambon, who plays Andy's on-screen sister Maria Connor, said: "Well done And! Can't wait to have you back... you've done yourself proud xxx."
Andy became emotional as he expressed his gratitude at being able to come on a show he loves so much and thanked the public for backing him.

He also couldn't understand how he had been able to compete with other celebs like Caitlyn Jenner and Ian Wright, who have bigger social media followings.
Jacqueline Jossa was later crowned Queen of the jungle leaving viewers divided.
