Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs on Coronation Street, has responded to his fans' desperation to see him propose to girlfriend Tisha Merry.
Alan, who has a six-year-old daughter Sienna with his ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson, attended Nickelodeon's Slimefest at Blackpool Pleasure Beach with Tisha, Sienna, and Tisha's sister Alissa.
When asked how things were going between the pair, Alan told The Mirror: "Yeah it's great, she's a wonderful girl and I'm really happy."
When he was asked about the pressure of proposing, he said: "The pressure is there from day one but we've not been together that long, so I think we'll just enjoy ourselves for now."
Alan and Tisha, who played Steph Britton on Coronation Street, have been dating since earlier this year.
Meanwhile on the cobbles, Tyrone and his girlfriend Fiz have been having trouble with Fiz's daughter Hope.
They returned last month and it's obvious Hope hasn't changed as much as they wanted.
The pressure is there from day one but we've not been together that long, so I think we'll just enjoy ourselves for now.
This wasn't the first time she started a fire, before she went to Birmingham she set fire to the trampoline.
