Coronation Street viewers want Gemma and Chesney to break up

Their holiday didn't get off to the best start

Coronation Street viewers have made their opinions on Gemma and Chesney’s relationship clear – they are not well suited.

In last night’s episodes, Gemma Chesney and his son Joseph set off on a camping holiday in an old caravan belonging to Gemma’s friend.

However, the holiday didn’t get off to the best start when they got to the derelict campsite and discovered the caravan had been used for growing cannabis.

From the start, the pair continuously argued and viewers are asking when the pair are going to call it a day.

Things got worse when Chesney went to the village and when he got back he found out Gemma had taught Joseph how to play poker and fleeced him out of his pocket money.

Despite giving the young boy his money back, Gemma still made viewers unhappy for teaching the young boy how to gamble saying she shouldn’t be allowed near children.

Gemma was left upset when Chesney branded it the “worst holiday ever”.

Things haven’t been going smoothly for the couple ever since they got together, in fact. Gemma left viewers and Chesney disgusted when she licked a plate clean and out it on the drying rack.

She also upset her boyfriend when she pulled an April fools prank on him, leaving him to think she had been hurt.

And things take a turn next week when  Gemma discovers she’s pregnant. Is there still hope for the couple?

Coronation Street is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm, with an extra episode on Thursday at 8.30pm on ITV.
