Coronation Street viewers predict Jim McDonald is actually Emma Brooker’s biological father

Audrey and Liz suspect that Jim's son Steve is Emma's dad

Coronation Street viewers have predicted Jim McDonald is actually Emma Brooker’s biological father and not Steve McDonald.

In last night’s episode of Corrie (August 12 2019) Emma went to visit her father, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, in hospital.

As Emma went to see her dad, doctors told her his illness was terminal.

Emma went to be with her dad and he told his daughter he had always loved her like she was his own.

Confused by his words, Emma decided to ring her mum and was devastated when she revealed that the man who raised her wasn’t her biological father.

Emma told Audrey what her mum had told her and when her mum rang again, Emma ran off unable to speak because she was so upset.

As Audrey looked at Emma’s mobile, she realised her mum was none other than former Coronation Street resident Fiona Middleton.

Audrey tried find out more, but Emma revealed her mum didn’t ask about where she was living, meaning Fiona has no idea that Emma lives on the same street she did 21 years ago.

Audrey went to Steve’s mum Liz and told her about what Emma found out.

Together they did the maths and worked out that Fiona would’ve been a few weeks pregnant when she left the street in 1998, meaning Steve could be Emma’s biological father.

However, viewers think that Steve’s dad Jim could actually be Emma’s biological dad.

Fiona was originally on Coronation Street from 1992 till 1998.

During her time on the cobbles Fiona had a relationship with Steve McDonald, however they split up when he realised his ex-girlfriend Vicky had inherited some money.

Soon afterwards, Steve and Fiona reconciled and Steve wanted to help her raise Morgan.

Things took a sour turn when Steve cheated with Fiona’s friend Maxine and when Fiona found out she had an argument with the pair.
