Coronation Street viewers are not happy at the idea of David cheating on Shona with Natalie.
It was recently rumoured that David and Natalie could embark on an affair despite him recently proposing to Shona.
Cassie Bradley, who plays Natalie, told Ent Daily yesterday: “I think there are the seeds of a crush there.
“He’s the first person in a long while that’s given her a chance and she admires him for speaking up for her.
“She’s fought for everything her whole life then suddenly she’s got someone in her corner and I think that’s where that seed will develop.”

On a Digital Spy forum, viewers are not happy at the idea of Natalie and David getting together.
The forum titled ‘CS Natalie is a great new character’ starts with a user saying: “I like her banter with David.”
While some viewers agreed, they don’t want her to be a new love interest for him.
Another user wrote: “Last night I started to warm to her, but I really hope they don’t go down the route of her and David having an affair!”
Another user added: “I’m not sure on her at the moment. However, they’d better not do the inevitable affair with David as I really like David and Shona.
Hopefully it’s just a bit of a crush from her and nothing more. McLeod does like affairs and splitting up couples though.”

In an interview with Metro.co.uk Cassie also said: “[David] makes her laugh and they are a bit of a double act and David really likes her.
“What comes from that is this flicker of feelings – she hasn’t had great relationships in the past so her feelings for David could become more than friendship. They certainly get on very well. He sees her more for who she actually is.”
Coronation Street viewers know Natalie worked at Nick and Elsa’s bar in Nottingham when the pair were together.
When Nick returned she helped him steal his gran Audrey’s £80k which she inherited from friend Archie Shuttleworth.

David found out the truth and blackmailed his brother into setting up a barbers in returns for his silence.
Natalie recently arrived back on the cobbles and forced Nick to give her job. Although Nick can’t stand her and has got David to give her jobs she doesn’t want to do, it looks like David has taken to brother’s nemesis.
Coronation Street is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm, with an extra episode on Thursday at 8.30pm on ITV.
