Coronation Street viewers disgusted and Vicky and Michelle set Robert up for murder

The two women are after revenge

Viewers of Coronation Street are disgusted that Vicky Jefferies and Michelle Connor are setting Robert Preston up for murder.

Vicky has been missing since Michelle and Robert’s wedding earlier this month, with suspicion falling on Robert over her disappearance.

In last night’s episode (December 16 2019) Robert was told by the police that his sat nav proved he was near the woods the night Vicky went missing.

But Robert soon started accusing Michelle of hurting Vicky.

At the end of the episode Michelle was seen going into a hotel where she met up with Vicky in a room.

She told Vicky that Robert had been arrested.

Can’t blame Vicky and Michelle for wanting revenge on Robert but framing him for murder is a bit much ain’t it?

Vicky quickly got a text from Tyler saying that Robert had been charged with GBH.

Vicky then said: “So if we’ve done our job properly, he’ll be done for murdering me…

“Serves him right. Lowlife scumbag. Just goes to show, you shouldn’t have messed with us.”

But despite Robert’s cheating and lies, viewers weren’t happy that he was being set up for murder.

Although Vicky was set on getting her revenge, Michelle looked like she could be having second thoughts.

Will they really let Robert go down for murder?

Fans of the show know that Robert was engaged to both Michelle and Vicky, who is pregnant with his child, at the same time.

When Michelle discovered the truth and confronted him, he told her he had a one-night stand with Vicky while he and Michelle had split up.

But when Michelle asked Vicky, she told Michelle the truth: she was in a relationship with Robert and he had proposed to her months ago.

Whilst Michelle pretended to believe Robert’s side of the story, she was secretly plotting revenge.

After getting Robert to sign The Bistro completely into her name, Michelle exposed Robert as a cheat at their wedding.

But it seems like that wasn’t enough for the businesswoman…

The night before the wedding, Michelle told Robert she didn’t want Vicky showing up at their nuptials.

Robert decided to go over to Vicky’s to warn her to keep away, however afterwards she went missing.

Vicky’s son Tyler showed up at the wedding and revealed his mum was missing and the house had been scrubbed with bleach.

Robert was later arrested on suspicion of Vicky’s disappearance and it looked like he had killed the mother of his unborn baby.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
