Coronation Street fans have been left fearing for Adam Barlow’s life, after the handsome solicitor crossed serial killer Gary Windass.
On Wednesday night (September 25), Adam’s efforts to espose Gary as a villain backfired – and left him in grave danger.

Weatherfield villain Gary found out that suspicious Adam had hired a private detective to follow him – and soon turned nasty.
The loan shark threatened the detective and paid him off – forcing him to alter any incriminating pictures which showed him attacking Ryan Connor and threatening many others.
He told him: “He hires you in good faith and if you just do the dirty on him. You’re right about the likes of me, you don’t mess.
“And you certainly don’t double cross me the way you did Adam or you just might find yourself reclining for good.
“Get rid of the photos and, if he gets back in touch, I want to be the first to know.”

By the time the photos were shown to Adam, they were blurry and didn’t show Gary at all, ruining Adam’s plans and, instead, making it look like Adam had a vendetta against Gary.
However, in a moment fraught with tension, Adam later confronted Gary outside the Rovers – and killer Gary all but admitted to murdering Rick Neelan and warned Adam not to test him.
Gary warned: “Let me give you a little tip, know when you’re beaten for your own good.
“You know so much about me, why don’t you work it out.”
Understandably, fans are now convinced that Adam will become Gary’s next victim – especially as he is dating Gary’s ex-girlfriend Sarah Platt.
Adam is no fool, and will no doubt continue to meddle in Gary’s affairs.
One viewer tweeted: ‘Adam has gone straight to the top of Gary’s hit list.”
Another said: “Oh Adam, be careful!”
A third simply typed: “I hope nutter Gary doesn’t try and kill Adam #Corrie.”

Viewers know that Gary was responsible for the tragic factory roof accident which killed Rana Habeeb on her wedding day.
He pinned the tragedy on loan shark Rick Neelan, who he murdered in a dramatic showdown in June.
