Coronation Street SPOILERS: Daniel Osbourne ‘makes a shocking decision over his wife Sinead’s funeral’

Sinead's cancer is terminal and she only has months left

The cast and crew of Coronation Street have been filming heartbreaking scenes in the aftermath of Sinead’s death, and it looks like her husband Daniel will make a shocking decision.

After Sinead passes away, reports have suggested Daniel will begin to self-destruct.

Pictures have shown the Bistro worker passed out in the street drunk, and it’s even been said he’ll contemplate suicide.

When the day of the funeral arrives pictures obtained by Metro.co.uk show he is set to cut himself off from everything and try to ignore what’s happening.

Not wanting to face up to the reality of his wife being gone, Daniel goes off for a walk with son Bertie.

Worried that he will regret his decision not to say goodbye to his wife, Daniel’s brother Peter Barlow tracks him down.

Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel, and Peter actor Chris Gascoyne were spotted filming the scenes in the countryside as Peter tries to get through to his brother.

But will Peter be able to persuade Daniel he needs to say goodbye?

Rob has previously confirmed to Metro that viewers will see Daniel struggle with Sinead’s death and would even repeat the same mistakes his dad Ken made as he adjusts to live as a single dad.

Last year, Sinead was diagnosed with cervical cancer whilst pregnant with son Bertie.

She made the tough decision to put chemotherapy on hold in order to save her baby.

She gave birth to Bertie prematurely and immediately began her chemotherapy.

Earlier this year she was told her tumour has shrunk and showed no signs of spreading, but unfortunately she recently discovered a lump on her neck.
