Robert Preston has got himself into quite the fix in Coronation Street following his secret fling with Vicky Jefferies.
On Friday night (June 14) Michelle asked Robert to get back together and despite being reluctant, he agreed to give their relationship a second shot - this time for keeps.
But for keeps might actually mean a few months when Michelle finds out he's been seeing Vicky.
And Michelle will find out because Vicky is carrying Robert's baby.
Appearing on Lorraine this morning (Monday June 17), actress Kerri Quinn, who pays Vicky, revealed where the storyline goes from here.
An exclusive preview clip from Wednesday's episode also showed Vicky telling Robert she is not keeping his baby.
We start to see Robert live a double life.
As Robert confronts her over whether the news she's pregnant is true, she insists she hasn't made it up to trap him before saying: "Don't worry, I only came to tell you it's not your problem any more, because I'm not keeping it."
And given a preview clip shared by the soap saw Vicky looking at abortion clinics, could she be serious about getting rid of the child Robert has longed for.
Speaking to show host Lorraine Kelly, about the predicament Robert's in, Kerri explained: "He's got Michelle back, the love of his life, and he's got the baby.
"If you could combine the two, he'd be happy, but that's not great drama.
"We start to see Robert live a double life."
So is he set to try to get back with Vicky to keep her sweet? Is he going to be in two relationships at once?
Or will Vicky follow through on her plan and get rid of Robert's baby?
This week see Robert propose to Michelle after setting it up at the Bistro so all her family are there for the big surprise.
As Robert leads her into the Bistro, a 'happy engagement' balloon means it doesn't take Michelle long to work out what is going on and eventually Robert gets down on one knee to propose.
As Michelle gets into full-on wedding planning the following day, she organises to meet Billy at lunchtime to talk weddings.
But when Robert is a no show, Michelle is left fuming and realises that she has been lied to.
At the Bistro later that day, Michelle confronts her fiancé about the fact he didn't come to the meeting and tells him that she knows he has been lying to her about his whereabouts.
Robert thinks fast and tells her that he was at the travel agents, organising them a fancy honeymoon. But will Michelle buy his lies?
With both Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle, and Tristan Gemmill, who plays Robert, both departing the cobbles later this year, it is yet to be seen if they leave together or separately.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
