Tyrone Dobbs is convinced that Mary Taylor is his secret admirer – but could he be tempted to cheat on Fiz while she is away?
The cobbles mechanic has been convinced that Mary has got the hots for him ever since he got a Valentine’s card and the writing inside matched hers.
And his suspicions continue next week when more signs start pointing at Mary being his secret admirer.
When Tyrone gets home for lunch at the start of next week, he is shocked to see Mary has prepared a lasagne for him and even chilled a bottle of wine in the fridge… but is she just being helpful in her new role as the nanny, or is there more to it?

When Mary later offers to give Tyrone a massage after a long day at work, he decides enough is enough and confronts her about the Valentine’s card, asking if it was her who sent it.
But as he explains that they can only be friends and nothing more, it seems he could have got his wires crossed… but how will Mary react?
Realising that he has got some making up to do with Mary after their disastrous conversation about the Valentine’s card, he heads over to the flower shop the next day with Ruby in tow.
The pair tell Mary how much they miss her and invite her to their house for tea that evening… and they’re thrilled when she agrees.

Deciding to put the card misunderstanding behind them, Tyrone and Mary agree to start afresh with their friendship. But is all as it seems?
Is Mary really innocent of sending Tyrone the card? Or is she just pretending that she didn’t?
And if Mary does have the hots for Tyrone, could he be tempted to cheat on Fiz in the most unlikely coupling Coronation Street has ever seen?
