Shona Ramsey finds herself arrested next week after getting caught up in son Clayton Hibbs dramatic escape from his prison guard at his dad’s funeral.
Desperate to see her son after he was viciously beaten up in prison, Shona makes the decision to go to Dane’s funeral and takes Billy along for moral support.
Once she is there, Clayton’s friend Macca tells them they’re not welcome. But not one to be told what to do, Shona goes along to the funeral service nonetheless.

However it looks like that could be a decision that she’ll live to regret when Macca and one of the (clearly corrupt) undertakers attack Clayton’s prison guard, leaving him free to escape.
Billy jumps into action and tackles Macca to the floor, but somehow Clayton manages to do a runner and is soon nowhere to be seen.
But the drama doesn’t end there, because of her connection to Clayton, Shona soon finds herself arrested by the police, leaving David worried when he hears the news.
As well as being worried about Shona, David panics that now Clayton is on the run he could be in danger, as well as his kids.
After ordering Sarah to pack a bag because they’re going into hiding, David is thrilled when a fraught Shona comes home from the police station.
But while she might be relieved to be home, the worried mum admits to David that she is scared about what might happen to Clayton while he is on the run, causing an argument between the pair.
Shona is devastated when David tells her that if he finds Clayton before the police do then he will kill him.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to problems in their relationship when David finds out that not only did Shona try to smuggle drug into the prison for her son, but that someone broke into their house in the middle of the night while they were all sleeping.
Devastated at how Shona has put his kids in danger, David orders her to leave. But when she makes her escape in his car, she is shocked when Clayton clambers into the back seat and orders her to drive.

But Clayton isn’t looking for a family reunion, he orders Shona to take him to a derelict warehouse and asks her to get him some cash.
Deciding to help her son, Shona arrives back at the abandoned building the following morning with money from David’s pot at home.
But as Clayton tries to do a runner with the cash, he is shocked to find the warehouse surrounded by police.
Taking Shona hostage, a knife-wielding Clayton tells the police that if he doesn’t get 10k and a car then Shona will be killed… is David about to lose someone else he loves thanks to killer Clayton?
