Ryan Connor is a man in demand next week when he finds himself being lusted after by both Bethany Platt and Alya Nazir.
Next week gets off to a bad start for Ryan when he complains to Rita that he once was a successful DJ, but these days he has resigned himself to chopping veg and cleaning loos.
But it seems Bethany could become his knight in shining armour as she hands him a flyer for a club in town, telling him that she has talked him up to the owner and landed him a DJ gig.
However, Ryan’s on a downer and tells Bethany that he is so out of touch with the music scene these days that he doesn’t think he could go through with it… but is he right?
Not taking no for an answer, Bethany presents Ryan with a case of vinyls and tells him to get listening so that he is up to scratch for his gig.

But while Ryan is grateful that he has got such a good friend looking out for him, Ali is convinced that there’s more to it.
Ali hints that the fact Bethany has gone to so much effort must mean that she has still got the hots for Ryan – is he right?
Ryan’s week continues to look up when Alya agrees to give him a DJ gig at Speed Daal, putting Geoff’s nose well and truly out of joint.
Thanking Bethany for helping him get his mojo back, Ryan goes in for a kiss, but it seems he must have misread the signals when she recoils and dashes out.
Ryan is mortified at what has happened and tries to cover his hurt by flirting with Alya instead and asking her on a date.
But what he doesn’t realise is Bethany is back at home, confessing to Sarah how much she likes him and regrets brushing off their kiss. But has she left it too late?
Getting Ryan to the salon flat, Bethany bares her soul and explains why she was scared when he came on to her.
As they talk, one things leads to another and the pair are soon kissing and heading to the bedroom… but little does Bethany know Ryan has just secured a date with Alya.

By the end of next week Alya is hurt to spot Ryan and Bethany in the street looking loved up.
But when she confronts Ryan about what is going on, he begs her to not tell Bethany about the fact he asked her out.
Is his secret safe, or is his romance with Bethany doomed from the start?
