Jack Webster has already had one of the toughest years imaginable for a schoolboy, but his ordeal is not over yet.
In fact, his life is put at risk once again in an upcoming Coronation Street storyline – and his big sister’s girlfriend could very well be to blame.

Corrie viewers know that Jack almost died in a devastating storyline in July last year.
The son of Kevin Webster and Molly Hobbs contracted sepsis from an infected scratch which he got while paying football.
As a consequence, Jack – played by Kyran Bowes – had to have his leg amputated after being told he would die if his foot wasn’t removed.

He then had to endure months of physical rehabilitation and mental turmoil, as he came to terms with the fact he might never play some of his favourite sports again.
Since having his leg amputated, Jack has been desperate to get active and Kevin will soon surprise his son by buying him a special sports blade so he can run again.
But the happy thought of Jack being able to achieve his dream is short-lived when Kevin has an argument with daughter Sophie and her girlfriend Paula Martin about their age gap.
After agreeing to differ and accepting that Paula makes Sophie happy, Kevin hurries out of the house leaving Jack alone at home for a moment.
However, in his haste, he doesn’t realise a ‘passerby’ has stolen the keys from his pocket after ‘bumping’ into him.
In a nail-biting scene at the end of this month, the key thief lets themselves into No.13 and starts rifling through Paula’s legal papers.
Has solicitor Paula unwittingly invited danger into the Webster household?
And what does the intruder want?
As a terrified Jack texts Kevin and hides under his bed, only time will tell if Jack will be discovered.
Kevin is forced to break down the door, but will he get home in time to save his son from the sinister criminal?
