Coronation Street SPOILER: David Platt throws up as rapist Josh Tucker chats to his mum Gail

He's struggling to cope

David Platt is going to be faced with his worst nightmare on Monday in Coronation Street.

The hairdresser – played by Jack P. Shepherd in the ITV soap – was drugged and sexually assaulted in last night’s episodes, leaving viewers horrified.

But David himself will be the one left even more horrified when as he’s trying to come to terms with what’s happened, Josh turns up at his door.

As David struggles to cope and places a bag of rubbish in the bin outside, he returns to his house to hear his mum Gail talking to someone.

He is visibly horrified to see that Josh has taken it upon himself to visit his house and act as if everything is normal.

“I need to learn my lesson,” says sociopath Josh in the spoiler clip released by ITV.

“Never take a lightweight out on a school night,” he adds as David quickly ditches the kiwi, kale and ginger smoothie Josh has brought him.

But the combination of Josh trying to give him a drink and Gail joking with the rapist is too much for David.

“Davey boy, you need to pull yourself together otherwise your mum won’t let us play out again,” says Josh in the creepiest way possible.

And that’s enough to see David running outside to throw up in shock at what’s happening.

Actor Ryan Clayton has revealed that Josh won’t be leaving Weatherfield anytime soon and instead will try to manipulate David into believing it wasn’t rape.
