Peter Barlow and Carla Connor are back in Weatherfield next week, but Peter's worried when Carla makes a huge decision about Underworld.
Fans of Coronation Street will know that Carla has been recovering from her breakdown following the Underworld factory roof collapse at a special unit in Carlisle, and thankfully she had Peter by her side as she fought to get better.
Next week sees a fragile but stable Carla return home, and everyone is thrilled to see that while she is still heavily medicated, she is much more her usual self.
The pair move back in with Roy Cropper, and he is thrilled to have them home. But as soon as she's back, Carla doesn't waste any time getting back to work.
After packing Peter off to an AA meeting, she heads to the community centre to see how the factory staff are doing.
She gets a mixed welcome from everyone, but when Carla reveals she has got something important to tell them about the factory, everyone is all ears.
But as Carla reveals her plans for Underworld's future, Peter is worried that her psychosis is making her do rash things and he begs her to think about what she is proposing.
Carla is sure that she's doing the right thing, but when she overhears Peter and Roy talking about trying to get power of attorney to stop her making any more decisions that she could live to regret, she is fuming.
Telling the pair that her illness has made her realise what is important in life, Roy and Peter feel bad, but that doesn't stop them from worrying about Carla and they remain determined to keep a close eye on her.
Peter is keen to get Carla back to full health and asks Michelle if she has got any shifts at the Bistro going that Carla could take on.
Michelle is keen to help and agrees, leaving Peter pleased. But how will Carla feel about him planning her life for her?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
