Coronation Street fans are predicting a shock affair between Nick Tilsley and Shona Ramsey.
Viewers watched last night’s episode as Nick and Shona raged at each other with David in the middle.
Nick blamed Shona and her killer son Clayton Hibbs for all of David’s ills and couldn’t face up to the fact that he had separated himself from his family.
And Shona was furious at Nick’s insistence she was a gold digger.
But when David arrived to find Nick grabbing Shona, he was forced to tell his older brother about his traumatic rape to stop him accusing Shona of ruining his life.

While viewers were horrified at Nick’s behaviour, they couldn’t help but notice a little frisson between Nick and Shona.
And they even think they could be romping by Christmas in what would be a devastating affair.
One viewer predicted: “Nick and Shona affair by Christmas calling it now. #Corrie”

A second added: “Something’s going to happen with Nick and Shona.”
Others were confused by the row between the pair and couldn’t understand why they hated each other quite so much.
One viewer asked: “Why do nick and Shona hate each other so much? #Corrie”
Another added: “Did Nick know Shona before he left in 2017. Why does he hate her so much? #Corrie”
A third chimed in: “Why is there such animosity between Shona and Nick?? #Corrie”
Viewers also discovered Nick was hiding his secret wife last night when he told a mystery caller than he loved her, and claimed he was staying in Weatherfield to look after his ailing mother.

But with Gail in rude health, it can only be a matter of time before Nick’s new wife pops up and ruins his plans.
Viewers have watched him unsuccessfully try to win back ex Leanne Battersby, but could they really get back together?
