Sally Metcalfe attacked by cellmate Marcia in Coronation Street drama

Sally may not live to see freedom!

It looks like there’s trouble for Sally Metcalfe in tonight’s Coronation Street when her cellmate Marcia attacks her with a knife.

Last week Marcia accused Sally of grassing her up for having drugs in their cell. She had previously threatened to tell the prison guards earlier in the episode, but never did. Marcia didn’t believe her and beat her up.

Sally later appeared on screen in the second episode with some nasty looking cuts and bruises to her face.

In Monday night’s episode Sophie and Tim celebrated after a police officer arrived at their house to announce Duncan had confessed to his crimes but their celebrations will be short lived as Sally is attacked again.

Without fellow cobbles resident Abi in prison to protect her, it looks like Sal’s days could be numbered when Marcia pulls out a knife and lunges at her…

Sally and husband Tim met Duncan back in June last year when Rosie Webster stopped his daughter Olivia from being jailed.

He told Sally about how he lost his wife May after she suffered a stroke and wanted help in applying to the council for it’s charitable causes fund as he’d like to help other stroke victims and their families.

However once the money had transferred it turned out Duncan was a conman and he went on to frame Sally, saying she coerced him to steal the money and that the two were having an affair.

Sally was found guilty of fraud, money laundering and bribery and sentenced to four years in prison.

Duncan confessed to his crimes after his wife May who he claimed to have died arrived back in Weatherfield very much alive.

But it looks like Sally may not live to see freedom.
