Coronation Street's Nick Tilsley's crimes will be exposed by Toyah, teases Ben Price

He is one of the suspects for the factory collapse and stole from his grandmother Audrey

Nick Tilsley will be unmasked by Toyah Battersby, actor Ben Price has hinted.

The factory owner stole his grandmother Audrey Roberts' inheritance from her leaving her having to continue working in her dotage.

He is also a chief suspect in the Underworld factory collapse, and is behaving very shiftily for viewers.

But his girlfriend's sister could become his undoing, Ben has teased.

He said: "She's a lot smarter. I think she's a bit more switched on in terms of what Nick is, the history of Nick and what he's done to Leanne.

"I think she's got a bit more ammunition to fire at him. I don't think she falls for Nick's [expletive] as much – I think she sees through that much quicker."

Nick's also worried about Imran who seems determined to find the person responsible for the collapse and his sister Rana Habeeb's death.

"I don't think Nick likes him," said Ben.

"You might think Imran would be someone Nick admires, but he doesn't have any respect for him. Imran is obsessed with pointing the finger and blaming somebody.

"Imran annoys him. Them living together has just been a recipe for disaster. It's been a nightmare, because Nick is not good with lots of people. Within his family he's fine because they all love to hate each other and that's what he knows, but having Imran in close proximity has not worked for him."

Ben also revealed how nick doesn't have any friends on the street - and that he doesn't care as long as he can build himself up into a businessman sitting at the top of the cobbles' social hierarchy.

He added: "I think it's important that he's a bit of a snob. He loves the Street and it's where he's from and he's not going to go, so now he's decided that he's here now, he wants to start running things and this is how he wants to run it.

"Nick needs to build up businesses, make some money, and be with the girl that he wants to be with.

"I think he looks around the factory and goes, 'God if I don't do it, nobody's going to do it, because Carla's not riding in to save the factory and these lot aren't, but I can!'"
