Viewers of Coronation Street have demanded that Geoff Metcalfe is the one to perish in the dramatic shoot out this Christmas.
We know that at least one person doesn't survive the armed siege, which takes place in Weatherfield in the coming weeks.
Spoilers tell us that troubled Derek Milligan turns murderous and unleashes his anger at Gary Windass - and sadly the unsuspecting residents of the Street are caught in the crossfire.
When the news is revealed that Gary is actually the owner of the factory and not Derek, Sarah and Nick are left reeling.
Let's hope Geoff gets killed in the crossfire.
But Maria is also fuming, and demands to know why Gary kept her in the dark about something so huge.
When Gary spins lie after lie to Maria, little does she know that Gary has got Derek tied up at the furniture shop, and is about to lock him in over night.
Gary is determined to teach Derek a lesson on who is boss, and makes sure he misses his flight to Florida, meaning he will lose his kids forever.
By Christmas Eve, however, Derek has gone into hiding - taking an antique shotgun with him.
As Christmas Day arrives, Weatherfield residents get into the festivities.
However their joy soon turns to horror when the Winter Wonderland attraction on the cobbles turns into the scene of a dramatic armed siege as Derek vows revenge on Gary.
Shots are fired, hell breaks loose - and someone is left fatally wounded.
And viewers have expressed their opinion that they want it to be Geoff!
Reacting to the teaser trailer released by the ITV soap, one fan wrote: "A stray bullet hits Geoff."
To which another replied: "That would be the best!"
Another said: "Shame it's not Geoff getting shot, that storyline has been dragging since it started."
A third added: "I hope Geoff is going... ASAP."
"I wish Geoff would get shot," said one more, while another added: "I hope he shoots Geoff, Eileen or Maria and not one of the good characters."
"Let's hope Geoff gets killed in the crossfire," suggested one more, and "get bad Geoff gone. Horrible character," agreed another.
Others feared for Shona Platt's character.
Coronation Street’s hour-long special airs at 8pm on ITV on Christmas Day.
