Peter Barlow had Coronation Street viewers hot under the collar last night, as he channelled his inner George Clooney in the Rovers.
The businessman was seen drinking with pals on Wednesday (16 January), and his new look sent some fans into a frenzy!

With a groomed salt and pepper beard, and slicked-back hair, Peter was described as “hot”, “gorgeous”, “fit” and “on fire”.
Fans were happy to see Peter back in Weatherfield after a brief absence, and were touched when he reached out to Sally after her sudden release from jail.
Arriving in the Rovers, Sally looked stunned to be freed and shellshocked after being the victim of a violent attack in jail.

Just hours before her release, Sally had almost been stabbed.
After arriving in the Rovers to cheers and calls for Champagne, Sally looked weary and tired – and only Peter understood what she was going through.
Having spent time inside himself, he knew she would need a period of adjustment and gave her some words of comfort.

Despite one comparison to Captain Birdseye – although we think that was more the roll neck jumper – Peter’s new look received a big thumbs up from the critical masses!
Peter’s reinvention comes ahead of next week’s episodes when he embarks on a passionate fling with Abi Franklin.
While Corrie fans have always hoped for Peter to reignite his romance with Carla Connor, his attentions are turned by Abi in upcoming scenes.
Abi’s attempts to turn her life around begin with a job interview and continue when she bumps into Peter working on his boat and stops to flirt with him.
The pair are set to have an affair, but will they both want the same things? And is Peter really over Carla?
