The ITV soap has released its Saturday sneak peeks from last week’s filming – and there’s good news.

Carla Connor appears to be back at home at Roy’s flat and she’s joined by not only a smiling Roy but Peter too, as well as her friend Michelle Connor.

As the soap films around six weeks in advance, these scenes are set to air in June or July, meaning they are well after the harrowing events of Britain’s Got Talent week.

It has previously been confirmed that the identity of the new cobbles super villain will be uncovered during the week, when we will also get to see a special episode showing Carla’s mental breakdown from her perspective.

Both Carla and Peter are still in line to be the villain, though Weatherfield police seem to have realised that Carla wouldn’t have confessed about the factory roof had she known it had been tampered with.

Builder Gary Windass, his former apprentice Seb Franklin and Robert Preston all remain under suspicion of causing the collapse for nefarious purposes.

The favourite is still Carla’s business partner, Nick Tilsley, who has come under increasing suspicion ever since trying to take sole control over the factory.

Even his own family suspect he had something to do with it.
