The factory worker will tragically lose her battle with cancer on Friday night (October 25) and you’d be a fool if you didn’t stock up on a family-sized box of tissues.

Thursday’s episode (October 24) will see Sinead record video messages for Bertie, as she tries to come to terms with her recent heartbreaking discovering that Daniel Osbourne cheated on her with Bethany Platt.

Sinead, played by Katie McGlynn, was devastated when she discovered Bethany’s notebook in which she’d poured out her feelings for Daniel.

When Sinead confronted her husband, he denied it at first but then admitted he and Bethany had shared a kiss.

After the revelation, Daniel was seen downing alcohol and embarking on a mission to self-destruct – none of which was helping his son Bertie or his dying wife Sinead.

Tonight, viewers will see Tracy Barlow call at the flat and tell Sinead that Bertie is going to need his dad when she’s gone – reminding her that he loves them both with all his heart.

Tracy’s words strike home with Sinead and, when Daniel returns home, the pair have a heartwrenching conversation about his future without her and he promises to look after their son.

Realising Daniel is punishing himself over the kiss, she tells him she forgives him.

Every scene is important as Sinead lives her last hours out in Weatherfield.

On Friday, Sinead is too weak to travel to the hospice and says her goodbyes before passing away peacefully with her husband and son on the bed with her.

We told you you’ll need tissues.
