He previously lived with Jack P. Shepherd

Coronation Street actor Colson Smith has recently moved in with his co-star Ben Price.

Colson, who previously lived with Coronation Street castmate Jack P Shepherd, announced on podcast Sofa Cinema Club that he was now living with Nick Tilsley actor Ben.

Speaking on the podcast, which all three actors host, Colson said: “We’ve moved out.”

Jack then added: “We’ve moved out. So yeah. After the first episode now, we’ve gone our separate ways and the lease was up on our flat.”

Jack, who plays David Platt on the cobbles, went on to say “We’ve moved out, I’ve moved in with my girlfriend, thankfully.”

Colson said: “I’ve moved in with the man on my left, Ben.”

He joked: “It’s a bit like, what is it the Queen does? The changing of guard, the colour of troop or whatever. You’ve handed me over.”

During the podcast Jack also denied he and Colson had fallen out, revealing they had to release a statement saying they remained the best of friends due to papers printing they had argued.

Ben asked whether they did fall out and Jack replied: “No.”

Although the three actors are good friends in real life, the same can’t be said for their Coronation Street characters.

Craig has been quiet of late, but Nick and David are in the thick of the action.

At the beginning of the year, Nick stole £80k from his grandmother Audrey Roberts and when his younger half-brother David found out, he blackmailed Nick into buying him the barbers.

With things beginning to unravel, David recently told his grandmother Audrey the truth and that Nick stole the money whilst he helped him spend it.

Despite David telling the truth, Nick pushed his brother to confess to stealing the money, in return Nick offered to sign over his half of the barbers.

David decided he didn’t want to go along with Nick’s lies, but let his sibling sign over the barbers first before telling police the truth. David then put the barbers in Audrey’s name.

Nick was furious when Audrey took David on at the barbers, but she still hasn’t forgiven Nick.

Coronation Street is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
