Brooke Vincent’s nan divides amused fans with her unusual washing line habit

The pregnant star was most confused

Pregnant Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent has left her fans in hysterics after sharing a photograph of her Nana Joan’s washing line.

Actress Brooke, who is due to give birth to her first baby any day, uploaded the snap to social media before telling her followers: “My nana NEVER fails to amaze me!”

The photo shows a rotary line with four individual rubber flip flops pegged to it. Nana Joan, meanwhile, appears to be hiding behind a giant white sheet.

Confessing her confusion at Nana Joan’s decision to hang her summer footwear on the line, Brooke said: “I mean who hangs flip flops ffs?!”

Many of Brooke’s followers were quick to respond with ‘crying with laughter’ emojis. One wrote: “Oh I love it!”

Using the same emoji, another added: “And why not I guess…! xXx”

However, other fans are firmly in Nana Joan’s camp!

One admitted, “Me, thought it was normal lol” and another simply said, “I do!”

Bestowing Brooke with some worldly advice, one wise fan told her: “I bet you do that when you’re older, then stand back and think about how you thought it was strange to do that… I’m speaking from experience!”

Earlier this year, Brooke announced she was expecting a baby with her boyfriend, Sheffield United player Kean Bryan.

The star is thoroughly looking forward to becoming a mum and recently had a glitzy baby shower with her close family and friends.

Last month, Brooke filmed her final Coronation Street scene as Sophie Webster before going on maternity leave.

At the time, Brooke said: “I can’t believe 15 years ago I came onto the Street to play ‘Sophie Webster’ and today I left to play my biggest role yet ‘Mummy’.

“My amazing family at Coronation Street, I am going to miss you all so much.”
