Rumours have been flying for months, but Coronation Street star Alan Halsall seems to have finally confirmed he’s dating former co-star Tisha Merry by sharing a loved up shot to Instagram.
He posted the picture to both his main account and to his Instagram Stories

The couple were celebrating the wedding of Corrie co-star Sam Aston to his yoga teacher fiancée Briony Gardner, and both posted the same photo to their Instagram accounts.
Alan’s photo was captioned: “Congratulations Mr & Mrs Aston. What a wonderful day, we’re so proud to be part of it.”
Tisha captioned the image with a simple love-heart emoji – and Alan took to the comments to say: “You’re not a bad plus one I suppose.”
The pair’s celebrity friends also commented on the shot, with Ryan Thomas and Samia Longchambon both posting heart emojis.
The couple’s fans were also quick to celebrate the relationship, taking to the comments to congratulate them.
“Lovely photo Alan. Tisha is gorgeous, so happy for both of you,” one fan commented. “Well done lad!” another fan said.
Someone else commented “This is lovely news,” and a fourth added, “Wow!! I love this.”

Alan and Tisha kicked off the rumour mill back in February, when they watched the Salford Red Devils play at AJ Bell Stadium.
There were also reports that they’d been spotted on a romantic getaway in Anglesey in March.
Alan was formerly married to Corrie co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson. The pair got married in 2009 after four years together, and welcomed their daughter, Sienna-Rae, in 2013.
They announced their divorce in May of last year.
