Coronation Street: Steve McDonald confesses he’s Emma’s dad and fans defend him as he’s blamed by Emma and Tracy

Steve is Emma's biological dad!

| Updated:

Fans of Coronation Street felt sorry for Steve McDonald last night as he confessed he’s Emma Brooker’s biological father.

In last night’s episodes (August 21 2019) Emma attended her dad’s funeral with the support of her brother, Morgan.

Emma had already discovered John, the man she believed to be her father, wasn’t her biological dad and things got worse when she realised Morgan knew the truth as well.

At the funeral, Steve brought a wreath over and tried to comfort Emma. He soon confessed to Emma that he was her dad and it’s fair to say Emma didn’t take it well.

She ended up hitting Steve with the wreath, leaving him with a scratch on his head.

Steve later had the job of telling his wife Tracy.

She didn’t take the news well either hitting him over the head with flowers.

The row, which happened in the street, was witnessed by Steve’s mum Liz, Steve’s other daughter Amy, and Mary, meaning Steve had to tell Amy that Emma was her sister.

Tracy was so angry about the news Steve has another child, she decided to kick Steve out of the flat for the night.

Coronation Street viewers felt sorry for Steve as he was rejected by Emma and thrown out by his family.

Emma’s mum is former Cobbles resident Fiona Middleton – who was on screens from 1992 till 1998.

During her time on the street, Fiona worked in Denise Osbourne’s salon as a hairdresser.

She had relationships with Steve McDonald, an affair with Steve’s dad Jim, and had a baby boy named Morgan with Detective Alan McKenna in 1998.
