Coronation Street fans get a little closer to an answer they’ve been after for weeks next week: Who is Nicky?
This week, Daniel ends up freaking out Nicky when he invites her over to the flat for a meal asking her to dress as Sinead.
But in next week’s scenes, Daniel tries his best to spend time with her.
With Nicky too busy to see him, she suggests he call her mate Cherry.

Cherry begins her usual sexy spiel but she’s surprised to find Daniel would rather talk about his son Bertie.
As Daniel talks on about his baby, he realises Cherry is bored. Asserting that it just isn’t working, Daniel ends the call and stares forlornly at Sinead’s photo.
Later, Daniel sees Nicky with a business associate of Ray Crosby. Daniel offers double to spend time with her, but how will Nicky react? And how does she know Ray?
Coronation Street: Who is Nicky?
Daniel and Nicky met a couple of months ago and it was revealed Nicky is a sex worker.
As Daniel was struggling feeling alone since the death of his wife Sinead, he and Nicky started a ‘business deal’ where Daniel pays her to dress up in Sinead’s clothes while they talk.
However there have been several theories that Nicky already has a connection to the cobbles.

One theory is that she is one of the escorts Geoff used while he abused his wife Yasmeen.
Another is that she is connected to Ray, a businessman who is well known for making advances at his female employees.
Daniel, Bethany, Alya and Abi exposed him as a pervert earlier this year putting them all in Ray’s bad books.
Some even believe she could be Ray’s daughter. If she is connected to Ray, how will Daniel react?
